Back in Time::We like it Ghetto.

{05.27.11}
We have some darling girls in our neighborhood who run a dance camp every year for only $10 a month.
so sweet.
Bella and Brie are the best teachers around and I happen to think unfinished basements have a little charm :)
These photos were from the dance recital.

 Athena. Brianne. Brie. Bella. Lulu. Grace.
Sonny and I were super impressed.
Thanks girls!

Back in Time::A Big Girl

{05.26.11}
Mommy Wow...

I'm a Big Girl Now!
this makes me giggle. :)

Back in Time::Wasted

{05.23.11}
Remember this post about the Rockstar's awesome sleep habits??
Well here is further proof...the morning we found him sound asleep at the top of the stairs.

 This actually scares me a little bit. He could have gone a rolling for sure. Yikes.
Never a dull moment with this handsome guy.
Wuv him.

Back in Time::FHE

  Justin's last night here, we invited some close friends over for a special FHE night.
Justin told a little bit of his story, overcoming obstacles,
and the faith and positive perspective that keeps him going.
It was so great to share his light with some of our great neighbors.

We are looking forward to having Tuft here again this next summer.
He just brightens up our home a bit.
And I hear we are not the only ones who crave to be around him.
He is making the rounds speaking at all sorts of different programs, conventions, schools, and firesides.
Seriously, If you live in the St George area, you need to look him up.
He has a great message about persevering. about faith. about hope. and mostly about love.
Plus, he will make you laugh a lot.

Back in Time::Zoo life

We got back from visiting my parents home in Idaho on Sunday.
A lot of changes happened there (more to come on that later...crazy stuff),
but first I want to do some catching up on some of my "blog holes."
As I said in the post below, I went thru all my photos on my computer last week to clean it up--
and of course I found quite a few missed blog posts.
I keep trying to ignore them, but everytime I sit down to do a recent post, I am being haunted by these forgotten memories...
So my apologies as I rewind a little back in 2011
starting with

The ZOoOOoo
{5.15.11}
Justin (aka Uncle Tuft) came to stay with us for a week.
Among the planned entertainment was a trip to the zoo.
Here are the pics to prove it happened :)

 Goodness. We got to get back there soon.
We are season passers and the weather is looking glorious!
We just got to get Uncle Tuft back up here...
don't think it will be the same without our favorite guy.

oh and just as a side note::If my memory serves me right, this was the zoo trip that the tiger came so close to us--right up to the fence. He was massive and we admired him for quite some time when all of a sudden he turned, looked right at me and roared (or do they growl?).
I scrame and jumped into the arms of a stranger.
He seriously wanted to eat me.
Sonny and Tuft wouldn't stop talking about it. hehe.
Maybe you had to be there ?? :)

Baffled

So I am going thru all of my photos on my computer (deleting/organizing...i know. stink.) per the hubby's request.
He's been asking me to deal with the "snarly mess" for the last few years.
I have finally agreed, because I am pretty sure the thing is going to crash on me any day now.
For reals.
I am actually quite enjoying myself looking back in history and seeing our great little life thru each year
Most of the photos have made it on the blog, but some have not...
such as this little treasure...
Seriously?
I am baffled.
How in the world did I miss posting that beauty!?

Haha!! I just love it.
If I am really (and I mean really) close friends with you
I will mimick this exact face if you ask me to the next time I see you.
Seriously, I can finally see that me and her kind of look alike.
Awesome.

Oh and for the record, this is totally making the wedding video in 20+ years.
oh yeah :)

uh...Happy Birthday!

If you have been around our little darling at all the past few months,
then you will know that every day is a Happy Birthday Day!
Gigi has developed the cutest habit since her December birthday and she greets everyone and anyone
with the birthday wish.
"Gigi, what's your name?
"uh...Happy Birthday!!"
"How are you baby girl?"
"uh...Happy Birthday!!"
"Goodnight Princess."
"uh...Happy Birthday!"
You get the picture.
It is my FAVORITE thing in the world
and I am already dreading the day she might grow out of it.
For now, we celebrate it!

Other Gi-isms:
When she is "toopy" (poopy)
G: "Somebody smells stinky!"
M: "Is it you?"
"yeah"

If someone wrongs her
(with a look that can kill)
G: "SAY SORRBY!!!!"

Every morning she asks for an "ABCDEFG!"
which translates to a vitamin C. :)

She also sings at the top of her lungs the following songs:
Old McDonald
A Child's Prayer
"Hebenly Faber...."
ABC's
and of course
Happy Birthday to you

We get a kick out of our Gigi every single day.
Seriously, she's the best.

Uh...Happy Birthday!!
